Other comments: Dhao or Ndao has a decimal system. Note that there are long (germinated) consonants (t͡ːʃ, ɖ͡ːʐ, mː, nː and lː ). Dhao or Ndao is spoken by approximately 5,000 speakers in Ndao island off western tip of Rote island; scattered settlements on Rote and Timor islands, Rote Ndao regency, East Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. |
