Other comments: Desano or Desâna is spoken by approximately 700 speakers out of 3,000 ethnic population in Amazonas state: Terra Indígena Alto Rio Negro, sixty communities on Tiquié river and tributaries; border with Colombia, Brazil and Colombia. Desano has a counting system similar to that of Piratapuyo, they can count up to 20 before. |
