Other comments: Dar Fur Daju or Nyala is spoken by approximately 98,000 speakers in a region near Nyala, the capital of South Darfur province by the Dar Fur Daju people. There are two divergent dialects: Nyala and Lagowa. Dar Fur Daju has a system based on twenty and Dar Fur Daju has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 10 years ago, not sure if they are still using traditional numbers after ten or now use Sudanese Arabic numerals after five or ten. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
