Other comments: Cuyonon or Kuyonon has a decimal system. Noteː In Cuyonon, you will find that stress of most words is in the final syllable. There is also the vowel which may not be found in other languages, and we call it the 'pepet' vowel=IPA /ə/. We use 'e' to symbolizes that vowel. For exampleː anem for no 6. Cuyonon is a regional Bisayan language spoken by approximately 120,000 speakers on the coast of Palawan and the Cuyo Islands in the Philippines. Cuyonon had been the lingua franca (language used for communication) of the province of Palawan until recently when migration flow into the region rapidly increased. |
