Other comments: Cinene or Cineni has a decimal system. The word 'ɣə̀r' as in compound numbers 11 to 19 means 'head'. There are alternative forms for compound numbers 11 to 19 'kla rì kà tìkà, kla rɪ̀ bùà, ... etc. Cinene is a Chadic language of the Biu-Mandara branch spoken in Borno State, Nigeria by approximately 3,000 speakers. Roger Blench classified it as a dialect of Guduf-Gava. |
