Other comments: E'ma Buyang or Langjia Buyang has a decimal system similar to those of Austronesian languages. E'ma Buyang is spoken by approximately 600 speakers in Wenshan Zhuang-Miao autonomous prefecture, Funing county, Gula township, 6 villages: Dugan, E’cun, Longna, Maguan, Nada, and Zhelong, Yunnan province, China. Lexical similarity for other Buyang languages: 78% with Langnian Buyang, yet not intelligible despite frequent contact, 63% with Yerong (Yalang Buyang), 48% with Baha Buyang. Also reportedly quite similar to En (200 speakers) of northern Vietnam. |
