Other comments: Bukat has a decimal system. Note that some Bukat numerals are similar to those of Ukit (Bhuket) language in Sarawak, Malaysia. Bukat is spoken by approximately 400 speakers (Wurm and Hattori 1981) in West Kalimantan province: northeast near Sarawak border, Kapuas river, 3 areas, Indonesia. Note the traditional spelling [j] is a voiced palatal affricate as in IPA [d͡ʒ]. |
