Other comments: Bintulu has a decimal system similar to that of Melanau. Bintulu or Vaie is an Austronesian language of Borneo spoken by about 4,200 speakers in Bintulu area, and 2 enclaves west; Sibuti area on northeast coast of Sarawak, Malaysia. Robert Blust leaves it as an isolate within the North Sarawakan languages. |
