Other comments: Biao Mon has a decimal system. Biao Mon retained traditional Miao-Yao numerals from one to nine, after nine, they use borrowed numerals from local Chinese variety. This language is spoken by about 23,000 speakers in Gongcheng, Lipu, Mengshan, Pingle, and Zhaoping counties, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. Biao Mon is quite different from and unintelligible with Biao Jiao Mien or its dialect Biaomin. |
