Other comments: Batta is a tonal Austronesian language with a decimal system. I do not know the numerals higher than ten in any of the languages. Batta is considered by Ethnologue to be a dialect of Ma'ya, like Ma'ya, In Batta and Salawati, /V/ = an underspecified (but underlying) vowel. Biga appears to combine both tone and stress (like Maˈya); I've marked both accordingly. |
