Other comments: Avokaya is spoken by approximately 100,000 speakers in Central Equatoria state and Western Equatoria state in South Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Avokaya has a vigesimal system. There are loanwords from Bangala, a Bantu language, for the numbers 100 káma ́ and 1000 kútu. |
