Other comments: Andoa was a Zaparoan language of Ecuador and Peru. It was found in the Pastaza River region in northern of Peru, and in neighbouring areas of Ecuador, until 1993, when the last known speaker died. It is also known as Anoda-Shimigae, Shimigae, Semigae, Siaviri, Gae or Gay. The Andoa people now speak Pastaza Quechua or Spanish. Andoa has only three words as numbers. |
