Other comments: Amba or Nemboa has a decimal system, there are two alternative terms for numerals from 10 to 90. Note that the [n̥], sometime spelt as ''hn'' is a voiceless or devoiced nasal. Amba is spoken by about 600 speakers in Aveta, Matembo, and Nembao villages, Utupua island, Temotu province, Solomon Islands. |
