Registration:

The registration fee for the Workshop on the Languages of Papua is as follows:

Students who are citizens of Indonesia: 100,000 Rps
Non-student citizens of Indonesia and all citizens of other developing countries: 200,000 Rps
Citizens of other countries: 400,000 Rps

Developing countries are those in the official "List of Developing Countries" of the International Statistical Institute; the complete list may be viewed at this external link http://isi.cbs.nl/developing.htm. Among the many countries included in the list are Indonesia and some of the other ASEAN countries. Indonesian citizens wishing to register at the developing-country rate are required to furnish proof of affiliation with an institute of higher learning.

Registration will take place at the conference itself; there is no advance registration procedure. The registration fee is to be paid in Indonesian Rupiah. Only cash will be accepted. We regret that we will not be able to accept credit cards or personal cheques.

The registration fee covers all conference materials, plus lunch and mid-morning and mid-afternoon refreshments.

Additional charges will be made for the excursion on Wednesday and the banquet on Thursday.

Facilities:

An overhead projector and a computer projector (for powerpoint presentations) will be available. Commercial photocopying facilities are available, but not very good; participants are advised to bring sufficient copies of handouts and other materials with them to Manokwari.
