Other comments: Zulu (Isizulu) is spoken by approximately 27,804,600 speakers in KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga provinces; northeast Free State and southeast Gauteng provinces; Eastern Cape province: Harding area, South Africa as well as Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique and Eswatini. Zulu has a complicated phonetic system with a lot of click sounds. There are no tone variations on numerals as all are pronounced with a low tone. |
