Other comments: Yoruba or Èdè Yorùbá is spoken by approximately 45,000,000 speakers in Kwara, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, and Oyo states, as well as Benin and Côte d’Ivoire. Yoruba has a rather complex numeral system. The under-dotted vowelsː ẹ and ọ are equivalent to IPA values [ ɛ] and [ɔ] respectively. the 'j' is a voiced palatal plosive, IPA [ɟ]. Yoruba is a tonal languages with three level tonesː [á] for high, [à] for low, and [ā] or unmarked for middle tone.
