Other comments: Yala or Iyala is spoken by approximately 278,000 speakers in Benue state: Oju LGA; Cross River state: Ikom, Obubra, and Yala LGAs, Nigeria. Yala numerals are similar to that of Idoma, Alago and other Idomoid languages, but the Yala numeral system is vigesimal. There are missing terms from 40 up. |
