Other comments: Winyé has a vigesimal numeral system mixing with loanwords from Jula. The numbers for 100 and 1000 are Jula borrowings. 60 and 80 are related with Jula 100 'kɛ̃mɛ', these two numbers need further study and analysis. Winyé or Kõ is spoken by approximately 20,000 speakers in Boucle du Mouhoun region: Bale province, Boromo subdistrict, Boromo area, halfway between Bobo-Dioulosso and Ouagadougou and Centre-Ouest region: Sanguie province, Burkina Faso . |
