Other commentsː Wasa or Waasa has a decimal system. Wasa is largely intelligible with the three major dialects of Akan: Asante, Akuapem, Fante. It has not been much researched. It has no official orthography. Wasa is spoken by approximately 270,000 speakers in Western region: mainly Wasa Amenfi West and Wasa Amenfi East districts, Ghana.
