Other comments: Wapan or Jukun Wapan is spoken by approximately 100,000  speakers in Benue state: Guma LGA; Nassarawa state: Awe and Lafia LGAs; Plateau state: Langtang South and Shendam LGAs; Taraba state: Gassol and Wukari LGAs, Nigeria. Jukun Wapan has a quinary, vigesimal numeral system. The word for twenty 'ádì zun' is an abbreviation of 'ádì pà zun', which means 'body person one'. There are also Hausa loanwords 'dèrí' and 'dubu' for 100 and 1000.
