Other comments: Tzutujil is spoken by approximately 72,000 speakers in the region to the south of Lake Atitlán in Guatemala. The majority of the Tzʼutujil people have Spanish as their second language, although many of the older people, or those in more remote locations do not. Many children also do not learn Spanish until they go to school around the age of five Tzutujil has a vigesimal system. Tzutujil has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 10 years ago, not sure if they are still using traditional numbers after ten or now use Spanish numerals after ften. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
