Other comments: Tojolabal (Tojol-aꞌbꞌal ) or Chañabal, Comiteco is spoken by approximately 67,000 (2020 INEGI) speakers in Chiapas state: Altamirano and Margaritas, Mexico. The Tojolabal numeral system is vigesimal, as well as in other Mayan languages, it has as its base the number 20, the term corresponds to the word winik, it is equivalent to a man, because it has a total of 20 fingers and toes. |
