Other comments: Tangchangya has a numeral system similar to that of the Chakma. There are some missing terms for 12 to 19, 21 to 29, 30, 40, 60, 70, 80, 90, 200 and 2,000. Note that the traditional symbol 'c' is=IPA [tʃ]. Tangchangya is spoken by approximately 21,000 speakers in Chittagong hills, Bangladesh. |
