Other comments: Stoney (Ĩyãħé Nakoda) or Nakoda, Stony is spoken by approximately 930 speakers in about 3,000 ethnic population in Alberta province: Alexis, Bighorn, Eden Valley, Morley, and Paul reserves west and northwest of Calgary and west of Edmonton, Canada. Stoney has a decimal system similar to that of Assiniboine. |
