Other comments: Shoshone or Neme ta̲i̲kwappe, Sosoni’ ta̲i̲kwappe is spoken by about 1,000 speakers (Golla 2007). There are an additional 1,000 speakers who are not fluent (Golla 2007) in the Fort Hall Reservation of Idaho state, the central to northeast of Nevada state, the Wind River Reservation and Utah state. Shoshone has a decimal system. The data was taken from Eastern Shoshone dialect. These are written in a slightly adjusted form of the Wick Miller Orthography, and there may be some differences between these and the other dialects of Shoshone.
