Other comments: The above data was taken from Korangal dialect from Kunar Province, Afghanistan. This variety of Northeast Pashai has a vigesimal numeral system and very different from other Pashai varieties. Northeast Pashayi is spoken by approximately 54,000 speakers in west of Asadabad, Konar and Pech rivers’ valleys, Kunar province and Dara-I-Nur and Kuz Konar districts, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan. |
