Other comments: Ottawa or Oddaawaa is spoken by approximately 220 speakers out of 7,000 ethnic population in Central and Eastern Great Lakes, mostly on the Canadian side Southwestern Ojibwe - southern Saskatchewan and northern North Dakota, east to Thunder Bay and Michigan Upper Peninsula, including southern Manitoba and most of Minnesota.
