Other comments: Texcatepec Otomi (Ñųhų) or Northeastern Otomi, is spoken by approximately 12,000 speakers in Veracruz state: Texcatepec municipality, Ayotuxtla, Texcatepec, Tzicatlán; Zontecomatlán municipality, Amajac and Hueytepec, Mexico.

Texcatepec Otomi or Otomi de Texcatepec has vigesimal numeral system.  

Notes:

1. One hundred can be expressed by /nɁa sjɛnto/ (Spanish loanword used mostly by
    speakers ages 50 and under).

2. One thousand can be expressed by /nɁa mil/ (Spanish loanword used mostly by
    speakers ages 50 and under).

3. Two thousand can be expressed by jo mil (Spanish loanword – used by most
    speakers under 50).
