Other comments: Onondaga (Onoñda’géga’) or Onandaga is a nearly extinct language with 40 elderly speakers only in Ontario province: Six Nations Reserve, Canada as well as USA. Onondaga has a decimal system similar to that of Oneida. The are two forms for number 'thousand'ː washɛ̨́h tewɛ̨ʔnyáųʔeh is from Six Nations dialect and skahųshǽ.tah is from Syracuse dialect. |
