Other comments: Nuu-chah-nulth, Nuučaan̓ułʔatḥ [nuːt͡ʃaːnˀuɬʔatħ] or Nootka is a nearly extinct language spoken by 110 speakers only out of 7,680 ethnic population in British Columbia province: Vancouver Island, Pacific Ocean coast. Nootka or Nuuchahnulth has a vigesimal system, similar to that of Makah language, with special structures for 6, 7, 8 and 9, similar to that of Makah language. |
