Other comments: Nunggubuyu has a three words for numbers. marang-aynjaabugij means ''one hand''.  For higher numbers, they just put these ones together, e.g. ''marang-aynjaabugij marang-aynjaabugij wulal-wulal'' would be fourteen.

Other comments: Nunggubuyu basically started with 'one' and 'two' and developed further numerals with phrases ('three'='two-other', etc,) under the influence (19th century) of Makassar (Indonesian) trepan hunters who did a little trading on the coast.
