Other comments: Nnam or Ndem spoken by approximately 3,000 speakers (1987 O. Asinya) in Cross River state: Ikom LGA, Aba, Nigeria. Nnam has a vigesimal system based on twenty and a single word for number fifteen similar to that of Ekajuk. Nnam has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 5, 7, 10 years ago, not sure if they are still using traditional numbers after ten or now use Nigerian English numerals after five or ten. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
