Other comments: Ndengereko or Ndengeleko, also known as Rufiji (Fiji, Ruihi) after the local river, spoken by approximately 72,000 people, is a Bantu language of the Matumbi hills, near Kibiti, and near Mchukivi and Bungu, Tanzania. Ndengelero or Ndengeleko has a traditional quinary system. Nowadays, all numbers above 5 are replaced by Swahili numbers. |
