Other comments: Nande or Kinande has a numeral system. There are alternative forms borrowed from Swahili for 70 and 90. The number 'thousand' olufu is a loan from Swahili, too. Nande, also known as (Kinande), is a Bantu language spoken by approximately 900,000 speakers in Ituri province and Nord-Kivu province in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. |
