Other comments: Mopán Maya is spoken by approximately 13,000 or so people who live in the Petén Department of Guatemala and in the Maya Mountains region of Belize. Mopán Maya has a vigesimal system. Mopán Maya has recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 8 years ago, not sure if they are still using traditional numbers after ten or now use Spanish numerals after ten. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
