Other comments: Northwest Oaxaca Mixtec has a vigesimal system with a single word for 15. Hundreds and thousands are loans from Spanish. Northwest Oaxaca Mixtec is spoken by 5,430 speakers (2000 INALI). 1,000 monolinguals in Oaxaca state: Guadalupe Portezuelo, San Simón Zahuatlán, and Santos Reyes Yucuná. |
