Other comments: Tipay is spoken in San Diego County, California, USA. Data are from the Dictionary of Mesa Grande Diegueño (Couro and Hutcheson 1973), and Let’s Talk ’Iipay Aa (Couro and Langdon 1975), and the Barona Inter-Tribal Dictionary (Miller and Langdon 2008). Dr. Amy Miller said that Tipay is a distinct language under the Delta-California branch of Yuman family.
 Notes:
     (a) Words for 6-9 are from the Barona dialect. Of the words for 10, ṣaxuk is from
          the Mesa Grande dialect, ṣa:xuk from the Barona dialect, and saƚ xəwak (which
          literally means ‘two hands’) is from the Santa Ysabel dialect.
     (b) thousand sye:nt (Mesa Grande dialect; is borrowed from Spanish ciento)
