Other comments: Koonzime is spoken by approximately 40,000 speakers in East region: Upper Nyong division, Alouma, Lomie, Messok, Mindourou, and Somalomo villages north and northwest Dja river; South region: Dja-and-Lobo division, Cameroon, Koonzime has a quinary, decimal numeral system. The construction for 60, 70, 80 and 90 is formed by 50 plus 10, 20, 30, and 40, respectively. 1000 is an English loan with phonological adaptation. |
