Other comments: Kimeru (Kimîîru)or Meru is spoken by approximately 1,980,000 speakers in Isiolo and Meru counties: northeast of Mount Kenya; Laikipia county: Ewaso Ngiro river north bank, Kenya. Kimeru has a decimal system very similar to that of Gikuyu. Kimeru is a tonal Bantu language but no one has studies tone in the Kimeru.
