Other comments: Kimbundu or Kimbundo, Luanda, Lunda, Mbundu, North Mbundu is spoken by approximately 1,700,160 speakers in northwest Angola, mainly Bengo, Kuanza Norte, and Malanje provinces; adjacent areas in Kuanza Sul, Luanda, and Uíge provinces and São Tomé e Príncipe. Kimbundu has a decimal systems. (1) For the number "20" , with a translation in French (it is must easier for me!),
word for word: deux dizaines = 20 (2) For the numbers 30 to 90 in kimbundu, and in other languages also, the string /-i+a (pronoun)/ merged together, and a final number also: mákwínyí á tanù → mákwínyátánù (50). |
