Other comments: Kim has a counting system with different structures for numbers 8, 9, 80 and 90. They are loanwords for hundreds and thousands from Arabic and Bagirmi. Kim or Garab is spoken by approximately 15,000 speakers in Mayo-Kebbi Est region: Mayo Boneye department, Djouman, Eré, Kim, and Kolobo villages; Tandjilé region, Chad. |
