Other comments: Giryama or Kigiryama has a decimal system. Kigiryama is a sub-language of the Kimijikenda. The nine Mijikenda groups speak closely related languages, all types of Bantu language, which is the same group to which the more widely known Swahili belongs. Kigiryam is spoken in the Coastal region in Tana River county by approximately 1,000,000 speakers. |
