Other comments: Kabiye has a decimal system with special constructions for 60, 70, 80 and 90. There are two forms for 60 to 90; one is formed by '50 plus the 10, 20, 30 and 40', the other is formed by '10 x 6, 7, 8 and 9'. Kabiye is spoken by approximately 990,000 speakers in Togo as well as Benin and Ghana. |
