Other comments: Gun or Gun-Gbe has a rather complicated numeral system of counting similar to that of Aja-Gbe and Fon-Gbe. Note that the traditional phonetic symbolsː c=IPA [t͡ʃ], j=IPA [d͡ʒ], ny=IPA [ɲ], y=IPA [j]. Gun or Gun-Gbe is spoken by approximately 1,500,000 speakers in Ouémé department: Adjarra, Akpro-Missérété, Avrankou, Porto-Novo communes; Plateau department: Sakete commune, Benin as well as Nigeria. |
