Other comments: Pennsylvania Dutch (Pennsylvania German) is currently spoken by between 350,000 and 400,000 people in 31 US states and four Canadian provinces, as well as in small communities in Belize and Argentina. Virtually all speakers of the language are members of Amish or Old Order Mennonite communities.
