Other comments: Dugun has a vigesimal system with a special construction for 8, 9 and a word for 15 'maʔaráɡá', the original meaning of which is unknown. Most of the basic Dugan numerals are similar to Dii ones. Numbers 100 and 1000 are Fulani loans. Dugun or Pani is spoken by approximately 7,000 speakers (1997 L. Lode) in North region: Faro division, Poli subdivision, southeast of Poli, Cameroon. The data were based on Northern dialect (Dugun Sáan dialect).
