Other comments: The counting system of Donno So Dogon is a mixture base 10 and base 8. In some Dogon languages, the number system is being re-evaluated to be a pure base 10 system. They also borrowed Fula number 'tɛmɛdɛrɛ' for hundred. Donno So Dogon or Kamba So Dogon is spoken by approximately 45,000 speakers in Mopti region: Bandiagara circle, area upstream on Yame river, Mali. |
