Other comments: Lower Chehalis (Łəw̓ál̕məš) is a member of the Tsamosan (or Olympic Peninsula) branch of the Coast Salish family of Salishan languages. In some classifications, Lower Chehalis is placed closer to Quinault than it is to Upper Chehalis. was formerly spoken in south of Olympic Peninsula, Washington state, United States. This language became extinct in 1990s. Lower Chehalis has only recorded traditional numerals from 1 to 10 many years ago. New data for numbers after ten is required. |
