Other comments: Western Highland Chatino (Chaꞌ jnaꞌa) or Chatino Central, Chatino de la Zona Alta Occidental, Sierra Occidental Chatino is spoken by approximately 16,000 speakers in Oaxaca state: Juquila district, Panixtlahuaca, San Juan Quiahije, Yaitepec towns; Ixtapan, Tepenixtelahuaca, Ixpantepec, Amialtepec villages; some hamlets, Mexico. Yaitepec Chatino dialect of Western Highland Chatino has a vigesimal system similar to that of Tataltepec Chatino. The words from 16 to 19 are formed by adding the numbers 1 through 4 to a new base 15. There are Spanish loanword for hundred and thousand.
