Other comments: Bulgarian has a decimal system. Bulgarian numeral 1 has two formsː edin (mas.), edno (fem. and neutral); number 2 has two forms tooː dva (mas.) and dve (fem. and neutral). Bulgarian 11 to 19 , 21 to 29, 30, 40 and 60 have alternative forms used in conversation and common in writing. Bulgarian thousand is Greek loanword. Bulgarian is spoken by approximately 7,700,000 speakers in Bulgaria as well as Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, Czechia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine. |
